That’s why we set out to design durable waterproof dog collars and leashes that are marine grade, mildew and odor resistant, and yet still look chic.

The Bluewater Dog Leash is designed with a strong webbing core and SiLeather® exterior making it water resistant, odor resistant, and safe from the elements. The hardware is made from a rust-resistant anodized aluminum, which is strong and lightweight so you can use it for a long time. That said, all products need to be cared for and rinsed in fresh water after exposure to the elements and marine environments.
Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. If needed, you can use bleach with water using a (1:4) ratio. Remember to always rinse the leash with fresh water after being in a marine environment and lay or hang to dry.
We currently offer two sizes for the Bluewater Dog leash:
- 5ft/M: 0.4 inch width; best paired with XS, S, and M sized collars.
- 5ft/L: 0.5 inch width; best paired with M/L, L, and XL sized collars.
Marine grade refers to a product's ability to withstand elements associated with marine environments, such as water, strong winds, rough contact and saltwater corrosion.
