This bed is what our 17.5 yo pup needed. It supports his joints and he’s been snoozing away. I hope a sofa style is offered in the future because it would be easier for our guy to get into and out of. Great product!
My lab is very picky about his beds (we’ve tried several other big name brands, only for those to be donated), but I will find him sleeping or relaxing in his bluewater dog bed throughout the day. I also got the pumpkin cover, which goes well with my decor. I’ve laid in his bed as well and I’d say it’s supportive without being too hard. The covers are easy to take off and clean, which is a big plus for me.
I purchased the Snoozy Bed for my Boxer, Rockford. He didn’t really need a new bed as his Orvis one had held up nicely over the last five years. I had, however, looked for other dog beds that didn’t leave him effectively lying on the floor. I recently purchased and returned one I found online because it simply wasn’t worth the money.
Over the Christmas holidays I stumbled across the Snoozy and was a little shocked by the cost. Not cheap. For me anyway. After reading about the construction and materials used in the Snoozy, I decided to give it a go.
My dog loves it. The quality is obvious. Some things, today, are worth the money and my Bluewater Dog Snoozy dog bed most definitely is!

Our dog has arthritis and back issues and has been unhappy with his aging beds. We have tried about 4 beds, which he all rejected, including a costly science backed orthopedic bed. He chose to sleep on the floor rather than sleeping in that bed. After reading these reviews for this bed, I was skeptical - there are almost no other reviews outside of 5 star - but I decided to take the chance (even after an email warning me that if I choose the wrong size and opened the package, I couldn't return the bed - which I misread in my angst and thought they wouldn't accept the bed at all if opened. The company responded that they only meant size, which is why they wanted to confirm, so I confirmed and awaited shipment). Shipping took some time (Amazon has ruined me) but man... the wait was worth it. I wasn't sure about the fabric - it is similar to a couch and I anticipated it being softer... but our boy insisted on laying on it right away. even though it was barely fluffed out of the box. His first night sleeping on it, he didn't toss and turn, didn't make noise and didn't want to get into our bed. He slept soundly and comfortably he entire night - and so did we. Thank goodness! I was searching for a new dog bed. I had purchased a donut shaped bed that my dog liked but the fabric shedded everywhere even after washing the cover. The bottom was starting to thin out as well. I wanted an orthopedic bed for my older dog. This did not disappoint. It did not take long to "inflate" after opening it up. My dog got on it right away. It is very generous in size and the foam is nice and thick. I purchased a large for my 65 lb GSP. I liked the handle on the back of the bed . It makes it easy to transport. My dog stretched out for a very comfy nights sleep !

This dog bed has been an absolute favorite in this house! From the moment we set it down, our pup curled right up and looked completely at home. It’s soft, cozy, and perfectly padded—just the kind of spot you’d want for a long nap or a good night’s sleep.

This towel cover gives a super cozy feel for my athlete body inner long car rides in her kennel to agility trials! I don’t worry about her getting dirty and then hoping in her crate with this cover because it’s so easy to just slide right off shakeout and put back on or just toss it in the wash!

This crate mat was a game changer for my dog to go in her Ruffland Kennel. Other pads were just so firm and not cozy. But if I would put a bed in there it would just get disgusting. So this pad has been perfect for my little princess! Super cozy but so easy to clean!!

Our dog loves his new bed!!! Climbed right in, laid down, and took a long nap. He especially loves the surrounding sides which he uses to snuggle and as a pillow. This is hands down his favorite of several beds. Highly recommend!!

The recommended size for a Lab was large so I went with this size. The bed was much too large for our 70 lb Lab and took up a huge footprint in our kitchen. Although it was a lovely bed I ended up giving it away since there was no way I could squeeze it into the compressed packaging to return it.

Love that our dogs can share the large bed and our 11 year old even lays in it. That says a lot because her place is the recliner! The cover is amazing…goes on just like a fitted sheet!

I have 3 large dogs (85-105 pounds) who were quickly drawn to their new bed. It’s beautiful and well made and the covers are easy to wash. I accidentally ordered the wrong size and their costumer service was very accommodating and efficient in fixing it.

Unfortunately, I have to give this a bad review… Great quality. I love the one I have in another color. This one is a lot darker than it looks in the picture and I’ve emailed two times to try and return it with no response. There is no return portal on their website. You have to email them for returns.

My 11 year-old Labrador doesn’t want to get up on the bed yet. Anyone have any suggestions to acclimate my dog to her new bed?
Hi Mark! Thanks for sharing this! It’s very normal for senior pups to take a little time adjusting to a new bed. Try adding a familiar blanket, placing the bed in her usual resting spot, or using treats to gently encourage her. Most dogs warm up with a little patience.
