I ordered the large bouclè dog bed along with the towel bed cover. for my 56 pound senior Border Collie. The bed is so well made as it’s substantial in size and very cushiony with good strong structure . The absorbent towel cover is also very high quality and generous. It fits over the bed perfectly. I am beyond satisfied with my purchase. My dog, Molly, is very happy too.

My cat had an accident on the bed, and I was so worried it would soak through. Thankfully, it didn’t! All I had to do was remove the top cover and toss it in the wash. Beneath the cover, there’s a mattress protector, which gave me even more peace of mind. I’ve had this bed for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it!
We were gifted this dream dog bed and absolutely LOVE it. It is stunning and my dog loves it. It washes really well and Chip is always so happy to see it coming out of the wash.
I am a foster dog Mom and dog sitter. I have about 8 dog beds in my house and 2 are Bluewater beds. My dogs end up choosing the Bluewater dog beds time and time again over the other options lying around. In fact, some dogs are too big for the small and medium versions I have yet they still pick those beds over larger ones right beside them. I sent a dog owner the pictures of their big dog in the tiny bed and they laughed and replied that,” she is very picky about her beds” :). The proof is in the pudding when you see the pictures! I happen to LOVE these beds because they look very nice in the house and add to the decor. They are very nice quality, wash well and withstand the daily use very nicely. If you are looking for just one nice looking, comfy dog bed, let it be this one!!!!

I just purchased this bed for my dog. We were at a friends house, who had one for her dog, and my dog wouldn’t get off the bed! She loved it. Can’t wait to get our own!
This is a review of the Blue Water Dog bed, size L, with boucle cover in "Sand".
I bought it to replace a simpler, much less expensive, canvas-covered Carhartt dog bed. That bed was still in good shape after 4 years, but my 80 lb. dog (now 8 years old) had developed a sore on her elbow that I thought would benefit from better cushioning and a softer cover. This new bed does provide much better support from the thick, solid foam inserts. There are two separate cushion inserts, one for the bottom and one forming the bolsters. Each is covered in its own zippered liner. The bottom cushion and top cushion go into separate zippered compartments. So, there is no way for these cushions to shift. This is a big advantage over the cushions in many other beds, which typically are stuffed with loose fillings, with no baffles, so they can shift, bunch, and flatten out. One downside: if you take it apart to wash, re-assembly is a bit trickier than a flat bed with a single insert.
I chose the color called "sand", which to my eyes is more like a gray gravel color. The boucle fabric is attractive and doesn't seem to be as much of a hair magnet as another bed we have. The top forms a single piece with no crevices for dust to collect.
Shipping was fast. However, within a few days after delivery, I noticed a split on the top for about an inch or two along a seam. I don't know if this developed before or after delivery. Blue Water promptly shipped a replacement cover (at no cost) along with a free removable outer "towel" cover for my trouble. These sell for $67 on their site. They said they'd never encountered this problem before. I'm deducting one star for the problem (not more, because of the good response).
By the way, that removable towel cover adds a soft layer that is easy to remove for washing. It fits well. I would have balked at the full retail price but am glad to have it as a freebie.

This is the perfect bed for our senior dog! Nellie loves it! It is comfortable with great support for her old bones. She is able to get in and out of it easily. Nellie is a happy lounging diva these days!
Took this out of the box and let it settle and within a few minutes, our pup, Piper, was snoozing away. We've had several beds but none of this quality and feel. Time will tell, but it definitely seems as though it's durable and will give us years worth of use. Also love the color and the overall look of the bed; it definitely fits our home and I would absolutely recommend!

I purchased a large dog bed back in May. I did a lot of research before purchasing because they can be pricey. Everything I read on their site and reviews finally made me take the leap and buy it from them. At the time we had two dogs and I thought if I like I’ll buy a second one. I picked it out and purchased one. Shortly there after I received an email stating the color I wanted was out of stock but would I like another color. And for the inconvenience they would give me 50% off of a towel cover. I thought that was above and beyond. I told them the new color was just fine and received the new bed quickly. I put it out and my dog was skeptical but that’s normal. Then he finally got on it and that’s when I heard “crunch, crunch, crunch” with every step and movement. The water proof lining was almost like a plastic covering over the cushions. It was awful trying to sleep with our dog on the bed. The next day I took the bed apart and took the liners off and put the cushions back inside the cover and problem was solved. I was bummed because it was a pricey bed and part of the reason I liked the bed was it was waterproof. So fast forward 6 months and I’m on instagram and they are showing a dog on one of their beds. I left a message saying I wish they had a better liner than the crunchy one. Immediately I get a response! I mean immediately. They asked for my order number and said they would send their improved waterproof lining for their cushions!! After verifying everything they said I would have it within 2-4 days! I was dumbfounded! I am huge on good customer service and that was just the best you can find. Now I’m sitting here wondering why I didn’t contact them earlier. Very happy.
My dog is obsessed. Has this Frisbee in all colors. Doesn’t go to the park or beach without it. 10/10

Very satisfied with this dog bed and purchase. It is the best and most well made dog bed I've ever seen. The handle is a game changer for me and my wife, and the dog loves the bolsters. My wife is a little sad now because my dog prefers to sleep in the dog bed instead of in our bed at night. It's a win for me. Thank you Bluewater dog team for a fantastic product.
2 fourteen year old arthritic rescues instantly loved their new beds. They never liked any of the dog beds we had before.
My cat LOVES this bed! She's a mainecoon mix and about 16lbs. She lays across it and sleeps with her head on the bolster. She's considered "geriatric" and I think the high quality foam feels good on her old joints and body. It's easy to wash and looks attractive!
I ordered the boucle large bed and it never got delivered and all customer service said was once ups has it in their hands they sent responsible.

I am so thrilled to have stumbled upon this website after hours of looking for the perfect dog bed. I could not be more happy with the quality and look. It’s exactly what I wanted and matches my home design. The handle is a wonderful addition as I transport the bed often. The orthopedic foam mattress is supportive and comfortable for my dog. The leashes are very well-made— construction and materials are fantastic, and they seem like they'll age/break in nicely. After years of handling stinky wet leashes, wish I'd found these sooner!
