Using a soft tape measure, measure directly above the widest part of your dog's neck (for most dogs, this will be nearest their shoulders). Place two fingers perpendicularly between your dog's neck and the tape measure to ensure a comfortable fit.
XS: Fits neck sizes: 11" to 13"; width: 5/8"; best paired with M size leash.
S: Fits neck sizes: 13" to 15"; width: 5/8"; best paired with M size leash.

How durable is the Bluewater Dog Collar?

The hardware is made from a rust-resistant anodized aluminum, which is strong and lightweight so you can use it for a long time. That said, all products need to be cared for and rinsed in fresh water after exposure to the elements and marine environments.
